Sometimes a women's self defense course is listed in the community activity section. Just jot down the time and place and make time to attend. These lessons are usually short and very informative. Even take your kids. Sometimes the knowledge shared there can give you a little more confidence in their safety and well being. These women are left with a life full of disappoint and missed opportunities. Women's self defense will give that woman the self esteem to believe in herself and she will take life by the horns. This woman will have more adventures and live life to the fullest. Self esteem equals the life that you will live. These new and important talents can be gained through classes at the local community center, YMCA, YWCA, and some are even offered through the local law enforcement agencies. Since the courses are so readily available, no woman should ever live in fear of a potential assault by a new suitor. In the past, the prospective date would be known to the woman, or at least known by the woman's friends or relatives. There has been no Taser related deaths to date. It is still the best women's defense method out there. Remember a Taser is not a stun gun. The stun gun is a devise that passes electricity between to probes. You actually have to be at arms reach of the attacker to use a stun gun. The Taser allows your to be several feet or yards away from the attacker, thus letting you keep distance between yourself and the attacker. If you are attacked with your child, put your child down or away from the potential attacker. Place yourself between the assailant and your kid. Use the defense techniques that the women's self defense class has taught you and run after the assailant is disabled. Of course if you have any chance to escape with your child, do so immediately. During inclement weather a umbrella makes an excellent women's self defense weapon. You must use it the right way. If the attacker is coming at you, point the pointy end of the umbrella at his face and lunge forward with the foot that is on the same side of the umbrella. Remember do not swing the umbrella like sword.
