There should be something inside that will make the baby iguana warm and comfortable during the night. You can provide a carpet or some artificial turf to cover up the floor of the cage for iguana. You can also spread the newspapers on floor for warmth, if you have a tight budget. Normally, iguanas live on the tree branches. Iguana males are very invasive towards other males when they do courtship. But otherwise, they are calm and fearful and run away, if you go nearer to them. These species are gradually getting endangered. Those found abundantly in wild earlier are getting vanished. The major causes are cutting of forests. If these abrasions are not treated, there is formation of ulcerian sostrum, infection with bacteria and disfiguring of nose. Thermal injuries: Burns and thermal injuries can come, if iguana comes in direct contact of heat sources in their enclosure. The main cause can be exposed hot rocks or light bulbs and heaters. Green iguana is the favorite of hunters, but it is not yet considered as imperiled breed of animals anywhere as is sometimes misunderstood like that. Hunters prefer to catch the large female iguanas. They have the advantage to absorb heat from sunrays when they come out of water because of this dark color and can keep themselves warm. They mostly eat marine algae. The excess salts are released by their body through their nasal glands when they go for sunbath. Their faces become whiter because of the salt in their bodies. When the iguana grows up, shift them to a larger place or expand the area of their dwelling. It should not be a congested place for them. 2. The air circulation is another important factor. You can choose an inexpensive enclose for them that has proper air circulation for their comfort. It is possible to install a noiseless small fan to maintain the air flow in the enclosure for iguanas.
