Correct time management is really to enjoy what one reaps. But often, time control buffs go to the extreme of gaining more time to turn it into another frenzy of activity and so on where no time is really left to enjoy the rewards gained. Whatever the arguments are, time management has to be applied and is crucial if one has to adapt to the thrill of competition. Stress management is also managing the threats that are exposed to us. If the threat can be remedied on, the threat can decrease dramatically. Threats can come in many forms. The possible loss of a job, noise, change of surroundings, relationships going bad, fear, problems with other people and even the things that we imagine can cause stress. Movement as we all know is not always being efficient. Yet everyday, movement is often mistaken to be progress when all one did was like sitting on a rocking horse moving back and forth and getting nowhere. It is often ironic that individuals who focus on the end results and not in being busy ends up in doing much and still have time enough for themselves. There are different books on time management training available today; one of the most popular is Julie Morgenstern's Organizing from the Inside Out. Another choice is Steven Covey's Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. The advantage of a book is its cost and you can learn it at your own pace. Formal time management training can also be resorted to when you want to have a seminar independent from the office. When choosing a trainer that will conduct the time management training program, it will be very helpful if they have had experiences in working the trenches because trainees can identify these and can have a better relationship with the trainer. If not, the trainers' integrity is questionable to the average worker and may result to ineffective time management training programs. Another is the language, the amount of dedication that one could have in reading a book. The issue of time management is a worldwide concern but not every country in the world has a culture for loving books. Another issue is that people of other cultures may be the very people who will benefit from time management most to upgrade productivity and progress but often the very same people who need it most and want it most are those who can afford it least.
