Scan the local yellow pages or surf the Internet to see who offers these services in your area. Most of the people who offer magic and puppet shows often also offer clowning, mascots, balloon art, face painting, story telling sessions, and other kiddie entertainment. If you want to tickle your little partygoers' visual faculties, you might want to set up a projector inside a closed room to simulate a theater experience and show cartoons and other children's shows. If you're working on tight budget, one of the child's family members or the parents' adult friends can volunteer to be the entertainer for a day and tell the children stories and sing songs. Why, if willing he or she can even agree to become the clown for the day! You never know. The games part is a little challenging, though, because you will need a good, enticing party host to get the guests to participate. Tell the players that the initial question they might want to ask the other is "Am I an object or an animal?" When the party nears the end, line the children up and have them guess what they think was taped on their backs. You can write car, cow, rabbit, horse, train, etc. 2) The "Fruit Basket" Game Place several chairs in circle, with one less chair than there are participating children. Also, you have to mention what kind of party you will be having and if your young guests will need to bring a change of clothes. If you're having a pool party, say so, so that they can bring their bathing suits and other water toys. If you're having a costume party, you need to urge your young guests to come in a costume according to your theme, or to their choosing. After this, seal the bag with a string. But if you want, you can make a more elegant or a fancier one. You can use a balloon and glue paper mache on it. The great and fun thing is you can adorn these to match any of your themes. Treasure Hunting There are many ways to do a treaure hunt. These are some creative ways. Now, this doesn't mean that you should spend so much money on hiring so many people to provide excitement at your event. Even just one person, a very good host or a magician, for instance, is enough. It would be a big plus for you if you are able to find a person who can provide all sorts of entertainment and who is not confined to just one "trick".
